Fall into Reading

I'm a bit late to the game, but I suppose better late than never, right? I just discovered the Fall into Reading Challenge, and it looks like a great way to get motivated to read. I've been puttering around since we moved, sort of getting things put away, sort of doing some sewing, sort of exploring the area...but it's been kind of a blah month. I think this challenge will put a stop to those blahs, and I can't wait to go to the library and dig in. As an added bonus, the Fall into Reading challenge might also help me get some of my books out of boxes and onto shelves. I have so many books that I've never read, and I keep saying I'm going to do it. Here's my chance!

Fall and reading--two of my favorite things! How perfect!

Here's my list, which is just a start. I hope to add to it once I make that trip to the library and go through my boxes !
The Creative Family by Amanda Blake Soule
Giants in the Earth by O.E. Rølvaag
Hot, Flat and Crowded: why we need a green revolution by Thomas L. Friedman
Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day by Jeff Hertzberg (Do craft, travel and cookbooks count? I'll say yes!)
Remember Me? by Sophie Kinsella
Anybody Out There? by Marian Keyes

I think I'm going to make it my goal to read at least two books a week. I think it sounds reasonable, and at that rate I might be able to get some other stuff done as well.

Happy reading and happy fall!

I have the bread book you talk about but still haven't tried anything from it. Thanks for the reminder!

Hey - I found you from my blog. It looks like we have quite a bit in common from what I quickly gathered as I skimmed around. Quilting, books, sewing, photography and more. I'm excited!
