So I'm Not Mother of the Year
Will you judge me harshly if I tell you that this was intentional?
In my defense, I did not set out to make my son cry. I just wanted him to pout a little, because his pout is so darn cute. I noticed, as we were hanging out the other day, that my singing--in a totally abnormal voice, mind you--was making Finn a bit pouty. I grabbed my camera and proceeded to sing some more while I snapped away. What started out as a sad face quickly devolved into a full-on upset.
Again, in my defense, it took less than 5 seconds to snap the six photos you see above--and these are all I took. As soon as the crying started, I put down the camera and snuggled my babe, and all was right with the world once again. I'm not a total monster, after all!
Or am I? What if he grows up to hate cameras or the Phantom of the Opera? Oh, my, what have I done?
But really, can you blame me? That pout is too much for a mama to resist!

You must have quite an abnormal singing voice!
I love this! Just linked over to your blog (via Soulemama) and got to see the cutest little pout-face ever. And you'll be happy to have this 'photogiraffic pimento' when he's a bigger boy. (The 'p p' reference is to Bozo the Clown, which you're probably too young or in the wrong geographic area to know about. But I had to say it.)
Anyway. Cute cute babe!
Oh, that is SO CUTE! I've been guilty of making mine cry for the sheer cuteness of it so don't feel too bad.
